    EV Hover features an extendable, 180° swivel arm that will have your charging cable hovering over you, rather than cluttering your garage floor.

    The base unit can be extended as far as 6 1/4 feet (9 1/4 ft with the extender).

  • Easy Installation

    Constructed of powder-coated steel and aluminum, installation is super easy.

    Attach a lag bolt to the wall, hang the unit on the bolt and then attach a couple of other bolts.

    Installation takes less than 10 minutes.

    Our extendable arm folds flat against the wall and can be mounted as high on the wall as needed.

After selecting the narrow area between my two garage doors as the best location of my Level 2 EV charger, I realized that there was an inherent trade-off between ability to reach multiple vehicles and how the cable would need to lay across the floor to reach the charging port. The EV Hover with the extra extension was a perfect solution. Because of the tight spacing between the garage doors, I'm not laying the EV Hover flat against the wall for long-term storage, but it can collapse to the length of a single segment and it's mounted well above head height. I also had to figure out a couple challenge with the mounting location not having a central stud in the wall. A nominal 2x12, with a 11 1/4" wide profile is perfect for the size of the mounting plate on the EV Hover v4 and the provided lag bolts worked great. I also improvised a bit using a iron handrail support bracket with a felt pad on the end to provide a bump-stop, preventing the EV Hover arm from hitting the garage door braces. Overall, a great product and I'm really happy with the outcome.

This is my second EV Hover. I was a very early adopter of their first model (which I loved). I recently purchased their newest model and if perfection can be perfected, this new model is it. This new model feels more solid (not that the original model was a problem) and extends and "collapses" very easily. It is VERY easy to install and keeps my Tesla charging cable off the floor. Love it!

The EV Hover works exactly as described and does exactly what we hoped it would. We have one EV with front charge port and another with a rear charge port. The EV Hover allows us to pull both cars into the garage head first and charge each of them without any hassle and while always keeping the charge cable accessible but off the floor and out of the way.
